Living Life on the Carnival Dream!

Our Ship the Carnival Dream!
Ethan did better than expected on the plane.  We flew from Tulsa to Chicago and then Chicago to Orlando.  On the way to Orlando Ethan found a lady to play peek a boo with him for almost 2 hours straight and he loved every minute of it!  What a heartbreaker!!

Ethan loved to look outside the window at the clouds!

On board the beautiful Carnival Dream!
Ethan, John, Grammy, Papa, and I all met in Florida for this 7 day excursion.  We cruised 7 days to Nassau, St Thomas, and St Maarten.  Each island was beautiful and we spent our time at the pool or by the beach.  With an infant we decided less planning is more and we were right.  It was nice not to have plans on vacation anyway!  For my fellow planners, I would recommend it!

This was the pool area where we spent most of our time.  The big screen was a nice feature :-)

John and I took advantage of the two huge water slides on board the ship.  There were two smaller versions for kiddos that Ethan can try in just a few years.
This is Carnivals picture of our dinning room.  We selected the late seating option (8:15 PM) and it worked wonderfully.  Each day we would meet around 5:30 to listen to music, feed Ethan, and occasionally go to Karaoke.  By the time we had dinner Ethan was fast asleep in his stroller and both John and I were able to enjoy our 7 course meal!
Ethan loved the pool on board.  He would splash and giggle and occasionally roar like a lion (his favorite thing to do when he is really happy!)
Splash! Splash!

MMMMMM.....Salt Water!
My Little Monkey!
Thank goodness for the advances in sun screen!
Flirting with Grammy!

What Mom another picture??
Ethan tried a variety of new food on the cruise.  The wait staff will have anything that you ask pureed; however, we are starting table food so we tried to look for other things to feed Ethan.  He discovered an absolute love for Cheerios!  He also discovered Pineapple! YUMMY
Getting ready for the Captain's Cocktail Hour!

My Boys!

Everywhere we went people "OOOOD and AHHHHD" at Ethan.
He was definitely a celebrity on board the ship!

Ethan loved breakfast every day in the dinning room.  His favorite meal was oatmeal and banana!
Milk Moustache!

All of the islands were very empty as it is the slowest part of their tourism season.  It was so nice that we had the resorts and beaches to ourselves!  Even though there were storms along the east coast, John and I both commented that this was the smoothest cruise we have ever been on.  We were thrilled that everything worked out so well!
St Thomas was absolutely beautiful!
We loved the Sushi bar!  Yummy!

Karaoke!!
Each night our waiter would dance or sing for the dinning room.  It was hilarious!

Ethan said YEAH!  Good job Dancing!
Cheerio Party!
Our poor cabin steward!

Ethan loved the ocean!

Rolly Polly!
Outside before the Lazer show!

We loved every minute of this vacation!  Ethan won't remember it but we plan to go again when he does!
