After a lazy Monday in Lawrence, John and I headed to Salina to celebrate with John's parents and siblings. We attended John's home church, First Covenant, in a blizzard on Christmas eve, followed by a wonderful dinner at the Salina Country Club. When we got home we turned on the news to see the Santa Tracker and discovered he was already in KC. The girls new they better rush off to bed or he wouldn't bring their gifts. Unfortunately I have ZERO pictures to post since I didn't have my camera :-( My nieces are so cute and they all had so much fun opening their gifts and waiting for Santa to come. It makes me excited about having a little one at Christmas next year!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. The holidays are always my favorite time of year and they always fly by way too fast! Next year I promise to do a better job of capturing the memories! By the way, John got me a new camcorder for Christmas so that I can load footage of our expanding family to this blog. I can't wait to have video of Jr for all of you to view when he arrives in a few weeks!
